KEEP THE SYSTEM WORKING
Resin-bound stone care.
Through every season.
Preserve the connected pores, protect the finish, and maintain drainage below the surface.
Routine cleaning
Remove leaves and debris. Plan periodic vacuum cleaning when sediment accumulates and review the system’s approved cleaning method. Keep adjacent soil and mulch from washing onto the pavement. Track drainage performance over time.
Snow removal
Snow removal is a supported use of the technology. Follow the selected installer’s equipment and blade instructions, protect edges, and avoid aggressive scraping or gouging. Keep outlets open and do not stockpile dirty snow on drainage strips.
Sand, deicers, and winter traction
Avoid applying fine traction sand that can clog the pores. Confirm approved deicers and cleaning products with the installer. Do not assume a porous surface is always ice-free; inspect it during changing winter conditions.
Pool areas and spills
Clean spills promptly using approved products. Coordinate pool chemicals, wet traction requirements, and maintenance access before selecting the finish. Choose a suitable pedestrian blend and verify the wet-use specification.
Sealing, repairs, and drainage
Do not apply a conventional film-forming sealer that could close the pores. Have damaged areas reviewed for compatible repairs. Inspect drain outlets and reservoir access points, especially after construction, landscaping work, and major storms.
