ELEVATION ECO-STONE / DESIGN PAIRINGS

Paver borders. Porcelain.
Eco-Stone design pairings.

Concrete pavers. Exterior porcelain. Natural aggregate. Bring the materials together in borders, bands, aprons, and flush drainage details that feel like one considered design.

THREE PAVER FAMILIES. THREE DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS.

Frame the stone.
Define the space.

Paseo Smooth + Desert Buff

A sweeping courtyard border

Ackerstone’s Paseo family pairs a warm, classic concrete paver character with a continuous Desert Buff Eco-Stone field. A charcoal accent row gives the curved edge a deliberate finish.

Smooth County Materials Elements border pavers create a strong geometric perimeter. A charcoal outer band and cream inner row frame a light-gray Eco-Stone motor court.

American Brick + Golden Buff

A herringbone garden ribbon

Rochester American Brick provides a traditional small-unit concrete paver option for borders and insets. A herringbone ribbon warms the edge of a Golden Buff Eco-Stone terrace.

A border is part of the assembly.

Match finished elevations, specify paver support and edge restraint, and detail the interface between flexible stone surfacing and jointed pavers. Border colors and units are finalized from samples; these scenes illustrate layouts.

KRONOS PORCELAIN + ECO-STONE

A pool deck drain
that belongs to the deck.

Design visualization of a flush dark Eco-Stone drain in a light porcelain pool deck

Flat across the top.
Porous beneath your feet.

Light stone-look Kronos exterior porcelain sets the architectural rhythm. A narrow contrasting Eco-Stone ribbon receives deck runoff while its finished surface sits flush with the adjoining tile. The continuous stone texture gives the drain a refined, integrated appearance.

The detail beneath the finish

The porous strip needs a receiving stone bed or an approved drainage assembly with a maintained outlet. Coordinate tile support, wet traction, material transitions, and flush finished heights. This is pool-deck drainage, separate from the pool’s circulation system.

A BETTER ARRIVAL

The driveway apron.
Reimagined in natural stone.

Design visualization of a resin-bound driveway entrance apron with charcoal paver edging

A material change
with a purpose.

An Eco-Stone apron introduces a warm mineral texture at the entrance to a conventional driveway. Concrete paver edges frame the insert and connect its palette to the entry walk, landscape, or home.

Vehicle-rated from the ground up.

Select the wearing course, support, and edge restraint for vehicle turning and braking. Coordinate the road connection, curb geometry, drainage direction, and any right-of-way requirements before construction. The illustrated apron is a design idea, not a universal dimension.

Garden insets & tree surrounds

Connect stepping platforms with a coordinated stone field, define a garden route, or create a porous tree surround with the planting and root conditions properly considered.

Commercial bands & courtyard inlays

Pair concrete paver bands with a continuous Eco-Stone field in plazas, boutique hospitality settings, pedestrian arrivals, and landscape drainage ribbons.
